Mid American Pompon believes that coach training is essential. We believe that the coach is the backbone of a team and in order for teams to be successful, they must be educated, organized and prepared.  Each summer at our overnight camps, we offer daily seminars to educate and inform our coaches.  We use such tools as Power Point presentations, demonstrations, guest speakers and networking to train our coaches. Printed information is given to each coach at camp, so that she may refer to it throughout the year.

In addition, we provide year-round free consultation services to our coaches regarding issues that they may have that relates to their team.  Just phone or email us and we'll be there to help.  We also offer a coach mentor program for new coaches.

Coaches whose teams participate in our summer camps and one other event each year are eligible to be on the Mid American Pompon Advisory Board.  The Advisory Board meets three times a year to review the major events of Mid American Pompon and make recommendations on how our events can best benefit their teams.  Email us if you are interested in being an Advisory Board member.
