The Mid American All Star Team was created in 1986 to provide performance opportunities to highly skilled members of pompon and dance teams from high schools throughout the state of Michigan. All Stars are able to showcase their talent and athleticism at a wide variety of fun events and locations, in a noncompetitive environment. The mission of the MAPP All Star Team is to give performers exposure and positive creditability as both athletes and performers, locally, nationally, and internationally. The team is under the direction of Julie Hobbs-Julian and is operated out of Mid American Pompon’s headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI.
Our History
As an internationally recognized leader in pompon and dance performance and instruction, the Mid American Pompon All Star Team has quite the resume of amazing performances, including many opportunities that the team is annually invited back for.
Becoming an All Star
Try-outs are held annually at Mid American summer camps. Auditions are open to all High School Varsity pompon and dance team members that have attended a Mid American camp within the same season as their tryout date. For more information on auditions, check out our MAPP All Star Auditions page!
