All Star History

The Mid American All Star Team was created in 1986 to provide performance opportunities to highly skilled members of pompon and dance teams from high schools throughout the state of Michigan. All Stars are able to showcase their talent and athleticism at a wide variety of fun events and locations, in a noncompetitive environment. The mission of the MAPP All Star Team is to give performers exposure and positive creditability as both athletes and performers, locally, nationally, and internationally. The team is under the direction of Julie Hobbs-Julian and is operated out of Mid American Pompon’s headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI.

Our Members

Over the years, we have seen thousands of highly skilled pommers and dancers become members of the Mid American Pompon All Star Team. Each member must be an active member of their high school’s varsity pom or dance team before they go through the All Star audition process.
